The insoles themselves are designed well with functioning technology that can have real performance benefits. However, I found the insoles slightly too thick (football boots) which gave a feeling of vulnerability towards twisting or rolling my ankle. With slight modification to the depth of the product I think this could be potentially be a good, beneficial insole.
I’ve worn custom insoles in the past, and needed a new set recently. Trying the Enertor insoles was amazing – pain in the ankle, knees and hips disappeared after running long distances or lifting in the gym. Even issues with an injured toe subsided with the soles in place. Cannot recommend highly enough.
I have had the enertor in my shoes for three days of the Christmas season. Lots of hours on my feet but have not texted them in my hiking boots carrying a ~35 lb pack for 4, 6 or more hours. That I will do in the next week or so and provide another review. I have been a Sole user for the past three years and they have served me wonderfully well on many backpacking trips in the Pacific Northwest, The Rockies and trekking in Bhutan (25 days on the Snowman Trek), Tibet (The World’s Highest Trek to Camp lll on Mt. Everest), Bolivia, Pakistan (16 days into K2 base camp) and many more. I chose to try the enertor based reviews, including by Michael Lanza of the Big Outside. Thus far they have been great. Very comfortable and no tired feet after three 8-10 hour days chasing grandchildren and doing festive activities.
Good insoles, but bad for wide toed shoes
Though I could feel an improvement overall, I can tell they are not made for wide-toed shoes, like the Altras I run in. I’m sure they work great with traditional shoes, and look forward to using them in my next pair.
Fantastic insole – helping me in my marathon training
Have been using Enertor for a couple of weeks now and they are incredible, very comfortable and I feel like I have a spring in my step. I had a hip injury earlier this year but since using the insoles haven’t even had a twinge in my hip and give them a lot of credit for that. As marathon training can be tough on your body, so nice to know I am protecting it as best I can with these insoles.
Foot feels supported and secure and the insoles appear to be very durable
great for cushioning, but they hurt my feet
I really like the cushioning and bounce of these insoles, however, the way they are contoured, they make my feet sore on the outside of my foot, opposite the arch. The pain goes away after two or three miles so maybe my feet just need some time to adjust to them or maybe I need to try them in some different shoes. I’ve only had them a couple of weeks.
These are a good quality, comfortable insole that gives really good support and cushioning. My only gripe is that it does make the shoe feel heavy, though this isn’t any different to the others I have tried.
Was lucky enough to receive a set of these inserts to trial, they are without doubt the most comfortable ones I have ever used and my feet and knee’s are defiantly better when I run when I use them, would highly recommend using them
More comfort – less pain
I have a high instep and play a lot of golf. When walking for 18 holes my feet were often quite painful by the end of the round. I now use these insoles in my golf shoes and it has definitely improved – I realised yesterday how much when I played on an old pair of shoes which didn’t have these insoles in and I was in much more pain by the end.
